"Classic Stonescaping & Gardens did a few things:
1. Pulled up the bricks on an existing patio, leveled and replaced with polymeric sand
2. Took out broken retaining wall and replaced with stacked rock wall, rock steps and stepper stones.
3. Removed brick walkway (reused bricks) and created walkway with stepper stones.
4. Created a flagstone patio with drainage; used existing brick to edge the new patio. Redistributed dirt and mulched entire yard. Planted our mums for us.
They accomplished the work in two phases. They came early to level the patio in time for a baby shower we hosted the last weekend of September. Accomplished the rest of the job in 2 1/2 days; They would have finished on Thursday but the rain got too heavy forcing a stoppage. They got a lot done on that one day, in the rain."

"First, the owner spent several hours thoroughly consulting with us to determine what our goals for the project were and discussing solutions and cost options. He was extremely professional and detailed, down to advice on what plants were worth keeping. Before he left we had a sketch of the proposal and a realistic estimate of the cost. We also appreciated that he explained what existing materials we had that he could reuse in another place (bricks, stone, plants). Once we decided to go ahead with the project he promptly scheduled a start date and estimated a completion date - both of which he stuck to. The one day it rained he called the night before to confirm they would be unable to work - a nice courtesy, since it was evident they would not be able to work outdoors that day. The workers left our yard as neat and clean as possible every day, and the yard was in good condition when they completed the work. We were looking to increase the usable space in our yard and find a more attractive and safer solution to the old wooden-tiered landscaping and steps we currently had...and that's exactly what we got! The wall and steps are gorgeous and there is a whole new area of usable space that is flat, where the children can play. We would highly recommend Classic Stonescaping and Jeff Jones!"

Extremely fast, professional and flexible, Jeff designed the project and quoted it right there. He was great with any changes, left the drawing and estimate with me. I booked him, he and his crew arrived on the exact time and date for the project, completed it in 2 days. His crew was hard working, and best of all, he was on the job with the crew almost the whole time. He installed large stepping stones around my house including a hill, and they are very sturdy. The plants he installed despite a massive amount of cable and electric lines alll over my back yard. I do know I have to water more than he told me to.

"Outstanding, the manner I wish all contractors would emulate. Jeff Jones, the company's owner, not only worked up the estimate, but worked with his crew on the job. The entire crew was pleasant and polite. The owner listened to our ideas, and incorporated them into the design plan. The work was completed very quickly and correctly, with no "do overs." Care was taken not to damage other parts of the yard. Months after the job was completed and paid for, one patio stone cracked, and was promptly replaced at no cost. We have recommended this company to friends and family."

"This was a two phase project which required some heavy labor but also creativity if the end product was to look natural and do its job to slow down water that runs across the property when there is a major storm. The site is steeply sloped. The initial job was building two retaining walls at 90 degrees from the house and creating a dry river bed that runs 50 yards+ down one side and then across my property. It included laying down a fabric base in an existing swale that the builder had created during final grading of the lot when the house was completed. This was then covered with various sized rocks and pebbles to make it look attractive and to slow down the run-off during major storms. At the same time they built two retaining walls one with stone steps - the house is built on a steep slope. The guys came back to add to the river bed once we saw how the water actually flowed in a storm and created a bridge across so the lawmmower could be more easily moved across. They worked hard moving stones around as I requested to build up certain areas and cover manholes as well as to ensure the areas were the water flowed strongest were well protected with appropriate sized stones. The project also included laying a stone path into the lawn and adding large bolders to create interest in the front flowerbeds. They laid the stone with minimial disruption to the rest of the lawn and it looked as though it had always been there! The crew worked very hard and fast and the owner (who was there throughout) was creative in suggesting changes to the initial plan that improved the overall look considerably."
